Abstrak

ABSTRACT

This study aims to determine the differences in learning result of students in cognitive science between learning Enquiry methods and Problem Based Learning in class VII SMP N 3 Singgalang year academic 2014/2015, and to know the science result student learning in affective and psychomotor aspects. This type of research is experimental research design Randomized Control Group Posttest-Only Design. The population in this study were all students of class VII SMP N 3 Singgalang year academic 2014/2015, amounting to 132 people. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique, then do the lifting of the lot and was selected as an experimental class VII.1 class 1 and class VII.5 as experiment II. After analyzing the data obtained by the average value of the experimental class 1 was 80.4 and 78.4 in the experiment class II, the collect in this study are primary collect in the form of final test results further processed by t-test. From the results of data analysis insignificant level that is equal to 0321> 0.05, in other words H0 is accepted and H1 rejected. Likewise, on the assessment of affective experimental class 1 83.32 and 80.66 in the experimental class II and psychomotor assessment experimental class 1 class 83.50 and 82.33 on ekaperimen II. It can be concluded, that the Enquiry learning methods and learning methods Problem Based Learning together can improve student learning outcomes.
