PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI LOKASI SMA DI KOTA PADANG BERBASIS WEB-GIS

Abstrak

ABSTRACT

Nowadays Geographic Information System (GIS) is a populer which becomes to save, do manipulation, to analyze and also to publicate data in which having geographic referential such atribut data and spatial data. GIS could be used for showing educational place all over regions. This construction system was made for taking information and giving advantages for people to look the location of SMA in Padang. This System construction uses Google Maps API and combines map file of Keyhole Markup Language (KML) to show every location in Padang. Methodology and construction in which use waterfall mode process, it was started by manipulating the system, necessary analysis, construction system uses language mode of Unified Modelling Language (UML), the code implementation program uses languange program web based, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Hypertext Pre-Processor (PHP), Cascading Style Sheet (CSS), JQuery and MySQL as database. The last step was by testing the program for users. The result of testing, it was found 80 % users need information system SMA location and it could be used as just as the previous contruction. By doing this final task, it was hoped giving advantages and helped people to know where the location of SMA in Padang.
