Abstrak

The purpose of this study is (1) describe the use of figure of speech in Ebit G. Ade song lyrics contained in the album "Country Song 2", (2) describe the figure of speech meaning in the lyrics of the songs contained in the album "Country Song 2", Ebit G. Ade , The theory used in this research is the theory put forward the theory of the figure of speech Tarigan, this study is a qualitative research with descriptive method. Based on the results of the study are the use of figure of speech in the lyrics of the songs in the album "Country Song 2" Ebit G. Ade that creators in creating lots of song lyrics using figurative language / figure of speech. Consumption figure of speech that many in use by songwriter that figure of speech hyperbole and metaphor figure of speech than other figure of speech-figure of speech with the aim songwriter wants to portray to the audience how the shape of the description of which occur in every song to be conveyed by the composer through his songs. Make the listener understand the feelings of perceived conflict songwriter in creating every song in the album "Country Song 2"
