Abstrak

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this research was to observe the effect of the use of teaching learning Reciprocal Teaching on student learning outcomes. This research was categorized as a research experiment. Population in this research is class VIII SMPN 3 Sijunjung 2014/2015 school year consisting of four classes. For a sampling of the population do normality test, homogenity of variance and average similarity test. It was found that the population homogeneous and have the same average. For sampling is done by selecting two classes that are the normal and homogeneous then choose Average - The average value is almost the same, the lowest used experimental class and the other used as control class. Hypothesis testing is done by testing the average similarity at the level of α = 0.05 of the calculation, t = 1.064 and t table = 2.028 for tcount <ttabel then accept H0 and H1 rejected. Concluded that the results of student learning using the teaching model upside down (Reciprocal Teaching) same with the results of student learning using conventional learning models (μ1 = μ2).
