Abstrak

ABSTRACT

study to determine the effect of media use cartoon images on student learning outcomes of cognitive, affective, psychomotor aspects of biology students in class VII MTsN Talaok Shaded South Coastal District. This study began in April-May 2015. This type of research is penelitianeksperimen by using study design randomized control-group posttest only design. Sampling was done randomly (Random Sampling) to determine the experimental class and control class and experimental class is obtained VII.1dan class control class is the class VII.8. Analysts engineering data using normality test, homogeneity test and test hypotheses. Based on test level statisticα = 0.05 shows that media use cartoon images dapatmeningkatan learning outcomes on cognitive aspects can be an average value of 77.58 and the experimental class 62.58 in the control class. Likewise, the affective aspect with the average value of the experimental class of 86,77dan 84.85 in control class, while in the aspect of psychomotor aspects of the average value of the experimental class at 89.60 and 66.72 in the control class. From the hypothesis test results obtained tcount 4.61> 1.67 ttabel H1 accepted meaning there is influence of media use cartoon images on biology student learning outcomes in grade VII MTsN Talaok Shaded South Coastal District.
