PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA SISWA KELAS I DENGAN METODE ABJAD DAN KARTU GAMBAR DI SDN 06 NAN SABARIS KABUPATEN PADANG PARIAMAN

Abstrak

The aim of this research is to improve students' reading ability of grade I SD card method alphabet and pictures at SDN 06 Nan Sabaris Padang Pariaman. Theory referenced in this research is the theory proposed by reading Rahim (2007), while for the alphabetic method proposed by Tarin (1997) .This method used in the study is Class Action Research (PTK). This study shows an increase in students' reading skills through methods alphabet and picture cards from the first cycle to the second cycle. Prior to the first cycle measures the average - average results of students 'reading ability of 57, after the first cycle measures the average - average results of students' reading ability to reach 75. In the second cycle increased to 78. Similarly, learning activities by teachers looked for an increase in the first cycle of learning activities by teachers reached 66% in the second cycle increased to 83%. It can be concluded that by using the method adjad and picture cards can improve the reading skills of students of class I at SDN 06 Nan Sabaris Padang Pariaman.
