Abstrak

This research is motivated by the lack of student interest in learning civics class V MIN Calau in South Coastal District. Formulation of the problem in this research is how to increase student interest in learning civics class V MIN Calau using models Make a Match. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in student interest in learning civics class V MIN Calau using models Make a Match. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) is conducted in two cycles. The subjects were students of class V MIN Calau South Coastal District a total of 11 people. The research instrument used is the observation sheet teacher activity, student activity observation sheet, sheet test student learning outcomes and field notes. The research showed that the students' interest in asking the first cycle increased 36.36% in the second cycle to 72.72%, the interest of students in answering the questions in the first cycle increased 54.54% in the second cycle into 86.35%. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is an increased interest in student learning class V MIN Calau South Coastal District after using the model Make a Match.
