Abstrak

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya aktivitas belajar siswa dalam This research is motivated by the low activity of students in fourth grade civics SDN 10 Pancung Soal. The purpose of this study was to describe the increased activity of students in fourth grade civics lesson School 10 Problem beheaded South Coastal District by using the method of Problem Solving. This research is a classroom action research conducted by two cycles. The subjects were fourth grade students of SDN 10 Pancung Soal of 20 people. The instrument of this study is observation sheet student learning activities, activities of teachers and students' achievement test. Based on the survey results revealed that the use of Problem Solving Methods. Can increase the activity asks students in the first cycle by an average of 33%, in the second cycle with an average percentage of 70%, while the activity of answering questions with an average percentage of 48% in the first cycle and the second cycle with an average percentage of 75%, and the activities of the students in doing the exercises ata with an average percentage of 55% in the first cycle and the second cycle with an average percentage of 85%. From the results obtained, we can conclude that learning civics through Problem Solving method can increase the activity of the fourth grade students of SDN 10 Pancung Soal.
