PENINGKATANHASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV SD MELALUI PENDEKATAN CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPS DI SDN 02 MARUNGGI KOTA PARIAMAN
Abstrak
This research is motivated by the low student learning outcomes in social studies learning. This is due to the method used by teachers less varied and less active students in learning. One way that can be used to overcome this problem is to use the approach of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). The subjects were fourth grade students of SDN 02 marunggai Pariaman. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. The subject of this study is the fourth grade students of SDN 02 Marunggi Pariaman which numbered 20 people. The research instrument used in this study is the observation sheet affective assessment, teacher observation sheet activity, and tests students' learning outcomes. Based on the results of cognitive learning aspects of knowledge in the first cycle with the percentage of completeness 55%, increase in cycle II with a percentage of 95%. The ability of understanding the students in the first cycle with the percentage of 60%, increase in cycle II with a percentage of 85%. Results of analysis of observation sheets affective aspects of response assessment of students in the first cycle was obtained 50%, increase in cycle II with a percentage of 75%. This means that the implementation of IPS learning through CTL approach in class IV in SDN 02 marunggai Pariaman, lasted well and can improve student learning outcomes.
