PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPA MELALUI METODE EKSPERIMEN DI KELAS VI SD NEGERI 37 SUNGAI BANGEK KECAMATAN KOTO TANGAH KOTA PADANG
Abstrak
The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in the student activity ask questions, discuss, experiment and improve student learning outcomes. In this study, researchers used an experimental method, this method is one of the alternatives that can be used to improve the activity of the teacher and student learning outcomes. This research is a classroom action research conducted collaboratively, the study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. Subject of research is the sixth grade students who numbered 19 people. The research instrument used is the observation sheet aspects of teacher, student activities and achievement test. Based on the results of the analysis of aspects of teacher observation sheets in the implementation of the first cycle of learning increased from 79.69% in the first cycle to 89.07% in the second cycle with an average of 84.38%. In observation of student activity in asking increased from 52.63% in the first cycle to 81.58% in the second cycle. In observation of the students in a discussion activity increased from 60.52% in the first cycle to 86.84% in the second cycle. In observation of student activity in conducting the experiment increased from 71.05% in the first cycle to 89.47% in the second cycle. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle be increased from 67.50 to 77.79 in the second cycle learning completeness percentage in the first cycle is 65.79% to 89.48% in the second cycle. Then this means learning science by using the method of Experiment progressing well.Key Words:activity, learning outcomes, sains knowledge, experiment method
