PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN BERKOMUNIKASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS V MELALUI MODEL CREATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING PADA MATA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA DI SDN 09 KAYU ARO BUNGUS

AbstrakThis study was motivated by the low communication skills and student learning outcomes in class V SDN 09 Kayu Aro Bungus. The research objective was to describe the ability to communicate and student learning outcomes in mathematics using a model of Creative Problem Solving in fifth class SDN 09 Kayu Aro Bungus. This type of research is classroom action research. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings and one final exam cycle. The subjects were students of the fifth class SDN 09 Kayu Aro, which amount 20 people. Instruments used in this research is the ability to communicate student observation sheet, observation sheet teaching activities of teachers and students' achievement test. Based on the results of the observation sheet obtained by the percentage of students communication skills of students in the first cycle 55% increased to 80% in the second cycle. Based on the results of the study, the percentage of completeness learning outcomes of students has increased from the first cycle of 45% to 80% in the second cycle. This means learning mathematics by using a model of Creative Problem Solving can improve communication skills and student learning outcomes in class V SDN 09 Kayu Aro Bungus. Based on these results, the researchers suggested that teachers can use the model of Creative Problem Solving in learning to improve communication skills and student learning outcomes.
