PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPS MELALUI MODEL PROBLEM BASED INSTRUCTION DI SDN 16 SIKAPAK TIMUR KOTA PARIAMAN
Abstrak
ABSTRACTThis research is motivated by the teacher during the learning predominantly using lectures, students are often in and out of class, low activity and student learning outcomes so that activities and results of studies students have not been as expected. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in the activity of the students ask and answer questions, express opinions and understanding of the students. Fourth grade students in social studies learning materials production technology, communication and transportation as well as traditional and modern social problems of poverty through the model Problem Based Instruction in SDN 16 East Sikapak Pariaman. This research is a class act. The research instrument is observation sheet activities of teacher, student observation sheet activities, achievement test, and field record sheet. The subjects were students of class IV, totaling 19 students. The instruments used were sheets of teacher activity assessment, assessment of student activity sheet, and achievement test. The results showed that the model Problem Based Instruction can improve students' learning activities for each indicator from the first cycle to cycle II 72.81% 85.09%. UH completeness learning outcomes has increased at the end of the first cycle of the average learning outcomes is 72.42 while the percentage of mastery learning is 57.89% and the average second cycle of learning outcomes is 85.16 while learning completeness percentage is 89.47% with KKM 75. The researchers suggest that teachers can choose and use appropriate learning model in teaching, which can use the model Problem Based instrution to enhance the
activity and results of social studies.
