Abstrak

Abstract

The purpose of this study to describe the increase listening skills in terms of the ability of students to name characters, the ability of students to comment on the nature of character and the ability of the students retell stories on speak and skills of students in answering the questions. The theory used by listening Suggestopedia method popularized by Lozanov. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK). The object of this study is the fifth grade students of SDN 47 Pangian District of Lintau Buo Tanah Datar. The instrument used in this study was the observation sheets, assessment sheets listening skills, and learning about the test results. Results of the research that has been done can be seen that the average ability of students to name a character in a story that dilisankan in the first cycle is 70.83. increased in the second cycle the average value was 89.58. The ability of students in commenting on the nature of the average value figures in the first cycle was 67.71 increased in the second cycle with the average value is 81.25, while the ability of the students retell the average value in the first cycle was 62.50 increased in the second cycle with an average value of 73.96 and the skills of students in answering questions with the average value of the first cycle was 62.50 increased in the second cycle the average value was 75.50. It can be concluded that listening skills and student learning outcomes by using suggestopedic increased.
