Abstrak

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning results obtained by students in civic education in primary schools 03 Binuang. Factors that cause is the lack of knowledge of students in the mastery of the material. Because in the learning of many students who do not pay attention to the teacher in providing the material so that a low students learning outcomes. The purpose of the study was to describe improving student learning outcomes in grade 5 on citizenship education lessonsby the method of Take and Give. The research is a classroom action research. The subjects were 03 students of SD Negeri Padang Pasir Jambak the number of students 30 people. The instrument used in this study is the observation sheet teacher activity, observation sheets affective domain (responsibility and cooperation) students, the end of the cycle test sheet on the assessment of cognitive (understanding) students and field record sheet. Based on the research result,  that has been conducted completeness of student learning outcomes of cognitive (understanding) in the first cycle with an average value of 60.0 has increased in second cycle with an average value of 75,6. The average results of student learning affective aspect (responsibility) students in the first cycle is 66,25 increased to 79,58  in the second cycle. In the affective aspect (cooperation) students in the first cycle is 64,58 increased to 75,41 in the second cycle. Thus, the learning outcomes of students in grade five elementary schools 03 Binuang country tends to be improved by the method of   TakeandGive
