PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DENGAN METODE DEMONSTRASI PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPA DI KELAS V SDN 04 KOTO GADANG KABUPATEN TANAH DATAR
Abstrak
AbstractThe purpose of this study was to describe the activity and student learning outcomes in science teaching demonstration methods in fifth grade the States Elemantary School 04 Koto Gadang, Tanah Datar. This research is a classroom action research. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings and one final exam cycle. The subjects were students of fifth grade the States Elemantary School 04 Koto Gadang, which amounted to 21 people. The research instrument used is the student activity observation sheet observation sheet teaching activities of teachers, students' test results, field notes, and the camera. Based on the observation sheet student learning activity in cycle I and II, the result of activity students answered questions on the first cycle 42,86%, increased to 76,18% in the second cycle, the activity of the students write a conclusion on the first cycle 57,14% increased to 76,38% in the second cycle. Based on the results of the study, the number of students who achieve mastery learning cycle I 57,14% with an average value of 79,28 and increased in the second cycle into 80,86% with an average value of 83,57. This means that learning science by using the demonstration can increase the activity and student learning outcomes in fifth grade the States Elemantary School 04 Koto Gadang. Based on these results, the researchers suggested that teachers can use in teaching demonstration method to enhance the activity and student learning outcomes.
