PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN BERKOMUNIKASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS V-B PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA MELALUI MODEL PROJECT BASED LEARNING DI SDN 05 SURAU GADANG
Abstrak
ABSTRACTThis classroom action research aims to (1) describe the communication skills of students (2) describe the cognitive learning mathematics students through a model of Project Based Learning in class V-B SDN 05 Surau Gadang the even semester of academic year 2014/2015 for the material geometry in mathematics. The research was conducted in two cycles, where each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The first cycle consisted of two meetings, as well as the second cycle. Data communication skills of students seen through observation sheet the students communication skills, learning management of data by teachers seen through observation of teacher activity sheet. The results showed that the ability to communicate with students in learning, which refers to the model of Project Based Learning in this class action research is conducted at the high category. Based on the study it can be concluded that the model of Project Based Learning can improve students' ability to communicate on Respect aspects class VB increased from 38.63% to 69.69%, Audible aspect increased from 37.11% to 65.13% and Clarity aspect increased from 37 , 11% to 65.15%. Results grade students class V-B of SDN 05 Surau Gadang academic year 2014/2015 in the wake of material space increased from 48.48% to 84.85%. Therefore it is recommended that teachers can use the model of Project Based Learning in Mathematics teaching in primary school.
