PENGKAJIAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DENGAN PENDEKATAN SIMULASI PACKET TRACER PADA MATA PELAJARAN DASAR JARINGAN KOMPUTER DI SMKN I KINALI KABUPATEN PASAMAN BARAT

Abstrak

The low learning outcomes  on the subject of basic of computer network on the tenth grade student of computer engineering and networks at SMKN I Kinali west Pasaman district, the most basic thing on assment is where 47% student get the score below the minimun completeness criteria (KKM). The minimum completeness criteria (KKM) that assigned on the subject on basic of computer network is 75 with the value of range is 0-100. The purpose of this study was to reveal the relationship Packet Tracer application approach to the learning outcomes in the subjects Basic Computer Network on the tenth grade studentclass X Computer Engineering and Network in SMK N I Kinali west Pasaman district. This research is a descriptive correlational. The population of this study was 92 people and the samples were 30 students of class X Computer Engineering and Networks in SMKN I Kinali west Pasaman academic year 2014/2015. The sampling technique was randomly (simple random sampling). The data of student learning outcomes obtained from subject teachers Basic Computer Network SMK N I Kinali west Pasaman district. While the approach of data collected through the Packet Tracer application questionnaire using likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. The data was analyzed using statistical methods with SPSS version 17. The result showed: (1) Utilization of Packet Tracer application approach in theaching Basic Computer Network provides coefficient by 12,75%. On learning outcomes of students of SMK N I Kinali west Pasaman academic year 2014/2015; (2) Approach Packet Tracer applications affects an increase of 26% againts the results of student learning at SMK N I Kinali west Pasaman in academic year 2014/2015. So it can be concluded that the higher of the Packet Tracer application approach to the learning process will influence the improvement of student learning outcomes are higher.
