PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN AKTIF TIPE THE POWER OF TWO DENGAN SCAFFOLDING DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VII SMPN 10 PADANG

Learning outcomes of students class VII SMP 10 Padang is still much below the minimum completeness criteria ( KKM ) because students are’n active in the learning process , and at the time of doing the exercises only a few students who actively work on while others simply copy answers a friend who is already completed . Therefore , one strategy Active Learning The Power Of Two Types with scaffolding that can be used to overcome these problems .The hypothesis of this study is the result of learning mathematics students learning to use active learning strategies types The Power of Two with Scaffolding better than using regular teaching students . Type of research is experimental research . Population in this research is all class VII SMP 10 Padang in the academic year 2014/2015 which consists of eight homogeneous class . Sampling random sampling because the three conditions ranging from normal distributed population and bervariansi homogeneous and have the same average VII.D met then selected as experimental class and grade students VII.C as the control class .Based on the data of students' mathematics learning in the classroom samples , hypothesis testing is done with an average difference test level α = 0.05 . From the calculation and t_tabel t_hitung = 3.49 = 1.669 . Because t_hitung > t_tabel then the hypothesis is accepted . It can be concluded that the learning outcomes of students learning mathematics applying active learning strategies type the power of two with scaffolding better than mathematics learning outcomes of students who apply regular learning .
