Abstrak

The background research by the low student learning outcomes. This, due to the implementation of the learning undertaken by teachers has not been able to increase the activity of students during the learning takes place, teachers have not fully engage students actively, students have difficulty in understanding the concepts and material provided. Attention students do not focus on the teacher. The research objective was to describe the increase in activity and learning outcomes in learning science by use a model of Take and Give at SDN 17 Balai Ahad Lubuk Basung Kabupaten Agam. Research using models Take And Give that means a series of presentation of the data that begins with  administration of student card in the card itself is no record that must be mastered or memorized by students. The Results that has been conducted on the first cycle, it can be seen that the average percentage of  overall student activity reached 63%, while the second cycle reaches 85%. An increase of 22%. Meanwhile, the percentage of completeness student learning outcomes overall in the first cycle is 45% and cycle II reached 82%, an increase of 37%. Based on results, researchers concluded that activity and student learning outcomes can be improved by using a model of Take and Give in learning.
