PERAN KEPOLISIAN DALAM MENINDAKLANJUTI KASUS TINDAK PIDANA PENCURIAN DENGAN KEKERASAN DI WILAYAH HUKUM KABUPATEN PESISIR SELATAN

Abstrak

The research was conducted at the starting point with the violent theft offenses fluctuated in Painan district jurisdiction. The issues raised in this study were (1) the factors that cause the occurrence of the crime of them of theft with violence, (2) the role of the police in dealing with theft with violence, (3) the constraints faced by the police in dealing with  theft with violence and, (4) police efforts to overcome the obstacles  in dealing with  theft with violence. This study uses descriptive and shot in Painan police and prisons. Based on research it can be conclude that theft with violence in the jurisdiction of the district of Painan increased fluctuating and it was triggered by several factors, namely economic factors,religious factors, and factors victim. Based on the results of the study suggested the public should be able to anticipate themselves against crime with violence. To minimize the crime the government needs to create jobs opportunity and improve the economy and also the role of the police.
