PENGARUH PENGANGGURAN TERHADAP KRIMINALITAS DI KABUPATEN SOLOK

Abstrak

This research is motivated by the problem of unemployment in Solok caused by an imbalance of labor force growth and job creation. Increasing the number of unemployment will have an impact on crime. This study aims to: 1) describe the efforts made to reduce crime in Solok. 2) to describe the growing number of unemployed and low income is one factor contributing to rising crime in Solok. 3) describe the effect of unemployment on crime in Solok. This type of research is a descriptive study. The instrument used is observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. These results indicate that unemployment in Solok give effect to the crime that occurred in Solok, police had made various efforts to reduce the number of crimes, attempts to suppress the amount of the unemployment rate is high enough to increase employment, implementing labor-intensive program in many areas unemployment.
