Abstrak

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to describe the learning outcomes of students in learning civics Problem Solving method in class IV SDN 02 Pampangan, District Lubuk Bergalung. This research is a classroom action research. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings and one final exam cycle. The subjects were fourth grade students of SDN 02 Pampangan, which amounts to 35 people. The research instrument used is the observation sheet affective student, teacher observation sheet teaching activities, students' test results, field notes, and the camera Student learning outcomes in the cognitive (knowledge) seen in the first cycle students presenatse completeness, 62.85% from 22 people students who pass, the average value in the first cycle, 71.17. In the second cycle with the percentage of students keruntasan first cycle 0rang 80% of the 26 students who completed, the average value of 76.42. The value of the affective (responsibility) to the average value of the first cycle is 66.07 and has increased in the second cycle into 76.07. The value of the affective domain (cooperation) at an average value of cycle I is 68.93 and has increased in the second cycle into 77.85. This means learning civics using Problem Solving method can improve learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN 02 Pampangan. Based on these results, the researchers suggested that teachers can use in teaching problem solving methods to improve student learning outcomes.
