PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPS MELALUI MODEL PROBLEM BASED INSTRUCTION DI SDN 08 PADANG LABAN PESISIR SELATAN
Abstrak
The purpose of this study was to describe the learning outcome of fourth grade students using problem based instruction learning process model in teaching social sience in SDN 08 Padang Laban, Pesisir Selatan. This research is a classroom action research. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings and one final exam cycle. The subjects were fourth grade students of SDN 08 Padang Laban, which amounts to 19 people. The research instrument used is the observation sheet activities of teachers teaching, students' test results, field notes, and cameras. Based on the results of the study, the average value on students' cognitive aspects such as knowledge (C1) from the first cycle to the second cycle increased 69,47 into 85,26 and the average value on the understanding (C2) from the first cycle to the second cycle increased by 35,26 to 70,52. From the affective aspects of students is the ability of students responsible, increased from the first cycle to the second cycle of 67,98% into 81,24%. This means learning social sience by using problem based instruction learning process model can improve learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN 08 Padang Laban. Based on these results, the researchers suggested that teachers can use audio-visual media in learning to improve student learning outcomes.Keywords : Student Results, IPS, Problem Based Instruction
