PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA SEKILAS SISWA KELAS V MELALUI STRATEGI INDEX CARD MATCH DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA DI SD NEGER 11 LOLONG PADANG

Abstrak

The purpose of this research was to describe of skimming students in learning indonesian language by using index card match strategy in Fifth grade SDN 11 Lolong, Padang. this research is develop by Oemar Hamalik (2011) opinion about discuss teaching and learning, Henry Guntur Taringan (2008) about discuss the reading as a language skill, and Silberman (2009) oponion about discuss active learning 101 strategies. Kind of this research is classroom action research. That was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings and one final exam cycle. The subjects were students fifth grade SDN 11 Lolong Padang which amounted to 32 people. Based on the results of this research carried out in the observations gotten reading students in the first cycle of 47.5% and second cycle reaches 81%. While the results obverse in the first cycle reaches 56% and the second cycle reaches 78% . However learning outcomes of student in siclus I reached an average value of 73.5 and the second cycle increased to an average value of 85. This research concluded that of skimming skill the Indonesian language learning students fifth grade SDN 11 lolong Padang can be enhanced with index card match strategy and have achieved with specified KKM.
