Abstrak

This research aims to improve learning outcomes fifth grade science students of SDN 02 marunggi Pariaman using cooperative learning model type Group Investigation. Class Action Research (PTK) is conducted in two cycles. The data source is a fifth grade students of SDN 02 marunggai Pariaman numbered 20 people. The instrument used was a teacher activity observation sheet, cognitive assessment, assessment of affective and psychomotor assessment. Based on the results of cognitive assessment in the first cycle students with the ability to determine the percentage of completeness 75% with an average of 72 learning outcomes, increased in the second cycle with the percentage of completeness 85% with an average of 78. The ability to understand the learning outcomes of students in the first cycle with the percentage of completeness 60% with an average of 71.75 learning outcomes, increased in the second cycle with the percentage of completeness 75% with an average of 78.75 learning outcomes. Assessment affective on the ability of cooperation and responsibility first cycle students with average learning outcomes 67.18 increase in cycle II with an average median learning outcomes 83.74. Psychomotor assessment on students' ability to gather information first cycle with an average of 65.41 increased learning outcomes in the second cycle with an average of 86.87 learning outcomes. Meaningful indicators in this study succeed in the implementation of learning using cooperative learning model type Group Investigation is progressing well. Based on the results of this study concluded that in science learning through cooperative learning model Group Investigation can improve learning outcomes fifth grade students of SDN02 marunggi Pariaman.
