PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MENULIS KARANGAN NARASI SISWA KELAS IV MELALUI MODEL DIRECT WRITING ACTIVITIES DI SDN 08 KINALI KABUPATEN PASAMAN BARAT
Abstrak
The purpose of this research was to describe an abilityessay writing narrative at fourthgrade by using direct writing activities model in SDN 08 Kinali Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. The theory that made reference are narrative essay writing skills stated by Tarigan (2005) Direct Writing Activities Models stated by Muhammadi (2011). The type of this research was classroom action research, it was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. The subjects in this research were students fourth grade with totaling 23 students in SDN 08 Kinali, Pasaman Barat. The instrument of this research is observation sheet teachers teaching activities, and achievement test students' skills on writing narrative essay. Based on the results of the research, the average value of learning outcomes writing skills of students on narative skill such as in the first cycle is 70.21, and increased to 75.43 in the second cycle. It mean that the ability of students inwriting narrative essay by using Direct Writing Activities model are increased in accordance with the specified KKM.
