Abstrak

The purpose of this research was to describe the improvement of the activity for asking and students learning outcomes in Indonesian learning through SQ3R models at SDN 27 Sago. The theory that made reference are Wardani (2010) to analyze the data, Sanjaya (2007) for the activity of asking, and models of SQ3R was used theory Taufik and Muhammadi (2011). The type of this research was a classroom action research (PTK). Subjects this research were students of SDN 27 Sago grade fifth C, Pesisir Selatan District totaling 28 students. Instruments of this research that used in this study were observation of student activity sheet, observation of teacher activity sheet, and student learning outcomes test. The results were become an increase in the average percentage of student activity cycle I 38.46% to 79.37%. The average percentage of the activity of teachers from 63.33% to 89.99% in the second cycle, while the average student learning outcomes in the first cycle of 66.5 to 84.39 on the second cycle. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that through SQ3R learning model can improve the activity of asking and student learning outcomes grade fifth CSDN 27 Sago, Pesisir SelatanDistrict.
