Abstrak

Abstract

          This study was motivated by the low student learning outcomes as a result of a lack of student motivation. This can be seen when the teacher explains the lesson there are some students talking with his friend, moved the seat, and the lack of willingness of the students to take note of the lessons. Therefore, it is necessary innovation to the learning process using active learning strategies type Listening Team. The final results of mathematical hypothesis test students analyzed using t-tests. Based on the hypothesis testing results obtained   = 4.17 and   = 1.7 at the 95% confidence level. Because   , it meant that the hypothesis can be accepted. And the hypothesis is rejected. Based on the description above can be concluded that the learning outcomes of students learning mathematics applying Listening Team learning strategy rather than a result of learning mathematics students who use regular learning in class VIII SMP Negeri 18 Padang.
