Abstract

The process of learning mathematics in class X of SMAN 9 Tebo still centralized in one direction. Students often have difficulty when create problem is slightly different from the sample questions given by the teacher, and the students reflect on the completion of sample questions for the given question without knowing the basic concepts first. Based on the above problems, the study aims to determine whether the study results apply mathematics student learning cooperative learning model Pair better checks of the learning outcomes of students learning mathematics bkonvensional apply learning in class X of SMAN 9 Tebo. This type of research is experimental. The population in this study were students of class X of SMAN 9 Tebo 2014/2015 school year consisting of three homogeneous classes. The sample in this research is class student X.1 as many as 22 people as experimental class and grade students X.3 many as 19 people as the control class. Based on the hypothesis test can be concluded that students' mathematics learning outcomes learning implement cooperative learning model Pair better checks of the learning outcomes of students learning mathematics applying conventional learning in class X of SMAN 9 Tebo.
