Abstrak

Abstract

This research was conducted at the VII grade student’s SMP N 31 Padang in academic year 2014/2015. One of the factors which caused low scores of the student’s  was on under the minimum mastery criteria was lack of understanding about mathematical concept. Therefore, teacher should be able to choose a learning model which can improve the student’s understanding of mathematical concept. One of the model which can be used Scramble learning model basedDominoes Educatif Math. The mathematical concept of the students was obtained from the grade of the Dominoes Educatif Mathgave at the end of every meeting. Based on analyzing the result of the Dominoes Educatif Math, it was found that the percentage of the students who passed the Dominoes Educatif Mathwas fluctuative. The final score of students’s data which had an indicator about mathematical concept was in normal deistribution and homogeneous. The formula t- test was used to examined the hypothesis. It was found that the student’s understanding of mathematical concept by using Scramble learning model based Dominoes Educatif Mathwas better than student’s mathematical concept by using scientific approach to the students.
