Abstrak

Abstract

This research has the background of problems including low the result of math students learning and students were less active in learning process. When the discussion group, smart students work individually and did not communicate with the members of her group, and the active students were the same students every discussion. To solve this problem, one attempts to do is apply the cooperative learning model with Round Robin technique in mathematics. This research is a research experiment. The population of this research was students class VIII.4 to class VIII.9 MTsN Model Padang 2014/2015. The sample of this research was students class VIII.6 as experiment class and class VIII.5 as control class. Based on the result of the research obtainable the result of mathematics students learning using cooperative learning model with Round Robin technique is as good as a result of mathematics learning students who use regular learning in class VIII MTsN Model Padang. This happens because some students are not active in the learning process. So that the implementation of cooperative learning model with a Round Robin technique are not performing well on some groups.
