Abstrak

Abstract

The low results seventh grade students learn math SMP 43 Mukomuko caused by several factors, including learning in general is centered on the teacher, group learning is not running smoothly and masi many students who are not active in pembelajran. One strategy that can increase the activity and results of students' mathematics learning is an active learning strategy Rotating type Trio Exchange. Rotating the type of active learning strategies Trio Exchange (exchange three play) This is a profound way for learners to discuss various issues with some, but usually not all of his classmates. The purpose of this study was to determine the activity and mathematics learning outcomes of students who apply active learning strategy Rotating type Trio Exchange better when compared with students who are learning to apply the learning biaa. Instruments in this study is the observation sheet student activity and achievement test. Based on the analysis of data, it can be concluded that students' mathematics learning outcomes learning to use active learning strategies Trio Exchange Rotating type is better than the learning outcomes of students learning mathematics using the usual learning in class VII SMP Negeri 43 Mukomuko.
