Abstrak

ABSTRACT
This study had background by sixth grade students low result of math at elementary school 08 2x11 Enam Lingkung. The math study before only lead students to memorized the concepts that was conducted to math it self, the teacher giveinformations and basic knowledge to the students, without applicated concept that they got to solve the problem. Based on the fact above, the writer is intrested in doing research studying math process used problem basic strategy. The data of this research was information of action research data from observation to teacher aspect, begining and ending aspect this study. The subjects of this study was sixth grade students. The total numbers of subject were 20 students. The result observation for teacher is good, second cycle increased into very good level. After doing study with basic problem strategy the average mark in first cycle was 72. In the after hand the study have to continued to second cycle in order some of the student did not pass in complete standard study. In order that students had reach standard average 85,5. The result of this research shawed that used basic problem strategy can im proved students ability in studying math.
