Abstrak

 

The purpose of this research was to describe Improvement Speaking Skill Of students fourth grade by using a model articulation in SDN 06 Ulakan Tapakis, kabupaten Padang Pariaman. The theory that made reference are speaking skills stated by Tarin (2008) and Resmini (2008), a model of articulation stated by Istarani (2012), and for the learning outcomes of students in speaking skills stated by Sudjana (2011). The type of this research was classroom action research, it was conducted in two cycles, each cycle are consisting of two meetings. The subjects were students fourth grade at SDN 06 Ulakan Tapakis, which totaling 18 people. Instruments of this research that used in this study were teacher activities observation sheets, and achievement test while students' skills on speaking. Based on the results of the study, the average student's skills in speaking at the first cycle is 73.8 and increased to 87.92 in the second cycle. With increasing students' skills in speaking Indonesian learning can be affect the final test results of the test cycle students with an average value of 72.77 in the first cycle, being 86.66 on the second cycle. It can be concluded that students' skills in Indonesian Language learning by using a model of articulation was increased with KKM set.
