Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution given by the study habits and self-concept of the learning outcomes information and communication technology class XI IPS SMA N 13 Padang. This research is a descriptive correlational. This study population is 112 people and the sample was 29 students. In the sample used simple random sampling technique is random sampling by first doing normality test, homogeneous and equality test average. The data of student learning outcomes obtained from the information and communication technology teacher and the data of contribution and self-concept study habits obtained from the questionnaire using Likert scale which had previously been tested for validity and reliability. The processing data is performed by using statistical methods with SPSS version 15. Based on research obtained the following results: (1) contribution to the learning habits of students' learning outcomes by 18.49%. (2) the contribution of self concept to the learning outcomes of 48.58%. (3) the contribution of study habits and self-concept together amounted to 52.71%. So it can be concluded if a student has good study habits and positive self concept will greatly influence the improvement of learning outcomes.
