PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR MEMBACA PEMAHAMAN DENGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN COOPERATIVE INTEGRATED READING AND COMPOSITION (CIRC) DI KELAS V SDN 08 ULAKAN TAPAKIS KABUPATEN PADANG PARIAMAN
Abstrak
This research is motivated by the low ability students in understanding the content of reading text, finding important information from reading text and answer the questions that correspond with the text reading. Students are less motivated to learn, so that a low student learning outcomes. To improve the learning outcomes of students' reading comprehension in learning Indonesian, researchers conducted this study using cooperative learning model type circ in learning Indonesian. The purpose of this study was to describe the learning outcome of students in learning Indonesian after using cooperative learning model types CIRC. Learning Model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) is one model of cooperative learning can help students learn to read a broad understanding for higher classes. This research is Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). The research was conducted in the second semester of the school year 2014/2015 in SDN 08 Ulakan Tapakis Padang Pariaman. With the research subjects were fifth grade students of SDN 08 Ulakan Tapakis Padang Pariaman district by the number of students 20 people, consisting of 12 boys and 8 girls. This study consists of the II cycle. The procedure of this study consists of four stages, namely (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. From these results it can be concluded that the use of cooperative learning model of the type circ in Indonesian language learning can improve student learning outcomes. The average value of student learning outcomes in the first cycle is 72.91 while in the second cycle is 82.07 then an increase in 9.16. Based on the results of the research study reading comprehension of students from the first cycle to the second cycle shows the increase in student learning outcomes. Thus researchers suggest that in each lesson the teacher should be able to use a learning model that suits the subject matter, in order to attract the interest and attention of students, so that learning becomes fun.
