Abstrak

This research of background by ability write class student short story of X SMA Negeri 2 Pariaman which still lower. This research aim to to prove difference of result learn to write short story among/between taught class by using model study of learning based problem with taught by using discourse method. Theory which is used in this research ( 1) congeniality write told by Thahar ( 2008), ( 2) congeniality of short story told by Thahar ( 2008), ( 3) short story elements told by Nurgiyantoro ( 2010), ( 4) model study of learning based problem told by Amir ( 2009). this Research type is quantitative research. Method which is used in this research is experiment method. Pursuant to result of data analysis obtained by average value at experiment class is 80 while average value at class control is 66 and after done/conducted by uji-t can be obtained by thitung = 15,22 and ttabel = 1,67, meaning thitung > ttabel, so that result of learning applied by student is Model of Problem Based Learning better than result of learning student which do not be applied by Model of Problem Based Learning at class student of X SMA Negeri 2 Pariaman. Inferential that Model of Problem Based Learning have an effect on by signifikan to skill write class student short story of X SMA Negeri 2 Pariaman.
