CAMPUR KODE DALAM RUBRIK SURAT-SURAT MAJALAH GADIS

Abstrak

The purpose of this research to description code mixing in letterof rubric Gadis magazine.  The theory had been reference was ( 1) theory stated by Nababan ( 1991) about code mixing and ( 2) Suwito ( 2002) about kind of code mixing, and about the cause of code mixing. The type of this research was qualitative research that produces descriptive data. Focus of this research wasshape of code mixing, kinds of code mixing and cause of code mixing that is in letter of rubric Gadis magazine in January, April 2015. The techniques of collecting the data with reading step and understand theletter of rubric Gadis magazine then writing and underlined and group the data based on the investigated object. Based on the result of the research was found (1) kinds of code mixing, consist of mixing consist of, kind of inner code mixing and ouler code mixing, (2) word, phrases, clause, and (3) cause of code mixing consist of, identification of role, identification of manner, and desire to explain and interpret. Based on the result of this research can be conclude that the senderwas mixed their language by using first language that is Indonesia language, the second language Jakarta dialect, and the third English language, while cause of code mixing at speaker language had been used to mix the Indonesia language with English language, so that the communication between authors and readers more relaxed.
