PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VI PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPS MELALUI METODE PEMBELAJARAN INKUIRI DI SDN 30 KINALI KABUPATEN PASAMAN BARAT

AbstractThis research is motivated by the lack of activity in teaching sixth grade students at SDN 30 Kinali IPS. The low activity of students in activities to answer questions and do the work properly. One way that can be used to overcome this problem is to use a method of inquiry learning. While the purpose of this study was to determine whether using the method of inquiry learning can enhance students' learning activities Class VI SDN 30 Kinali West Pasaman. This type of research is classroom action research. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings and one final test cycle. The subject of this research is the sixth grade students of SDN 30 Kinali West Pasaman, which amounts to 25 people. The research instrument used is the observation sheet student activities, teacher activity observation sheet, test results and documentation of student learning. Based on the research that has been done can be seen that the percentage of students who achieve a passing grade in the first cycle is 56% and the percentage of students who achieve a passing grade on the second cycle was 88%. From the analysis of student activity observation sheet, obtained an average percentage in the first cycle was 66%, while in the second cycle the average percentage obtained was 82%. This means learning social studies using the method of inquiry learning can enhance students' learning activities Class VI SDN 30 Kinali West Pasaman.
