PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF DENGAN PENDEKATAN PROBLEM POSING DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII SMPN 34 PADANG

Abstract
This research was concluded of Junior High School No. 34 in academic year 2014/2015 for grade 8th. One of the factors causing low in the student’s mathematics learning result was not many students were involved in learning. To resolve this problem, the researcher applied cooperative learning with problem posing approach. The purpose of this research was to find out whether the student’s mathematics learning activities and mathematics learning result by applying cooperative learning with problem posing approach was better than applying conventional. The design of this research was experiment. There were 4 parallel classes, in selection the samples, the class VIII4 and VIII3, have been chosen as experiment and control group respectively. The researcher used t test to examine the hypothesis. Based on the data it was concluded that the student’s mathematics learning result by appying cooperative learning with problem posing approach was better than the student’s mathematics learning result by applying conventional learning.
