Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of student interest in learning civics class VI SDN 07 Luhak Duo Nan West Pasaman in answering questions, doing their jobs. One way that can be used to overcome this problem is to use a learning model arisan card. While the purpose of this study was to determine whether using a learning model Arisan card can increase student interest sixth grade SDN 07 Luhak Duo Nan West Pasaman. This type of research is classroom action research. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of tigakali meetings (including one meeting for a retrial). The subject of this research is the sixth grade students of SDN 07 Luhak Duo Nan West Pasaman, which amounts to 22 people. The research instrument used in this study is the observation sheets interests of students, teacher activity observation sheet, test results and documentation of student learning. Based on the research that has been done can be seen that the percentage of students who achieve a passing grade in the first cycle was 63.63% and the percentage of students who achieve a passing grade on the second cycle was 81.81%. From the analysis of observation sheets interests of students, obtained an average percentage of observer in the first cycle was 52.27%, while in the second cycle the average percentage obtained from the observer is 80.68%. This means learning civics by using the model of a social gathering card can increase student interest sixth grade SDN 07 Luhak Duo Nan West Pasaman.
