PENERAPAN STRATEGI ACTIVE LEARNING TIPE LEARNING STARTS WITH A QUESTION DALAM PEMBELAJARAN TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI DAN KOMUNIKASI SISWA KELAS VIII SMP N 3 PADANG

Abstract
This research is motivated by the problem of low learning outcomes in subjects Information and Communication Technology class VIII SMP N 3 Padang, where 69.68% of students get to learn the results below minimum completeness criteria (KKM). The purpose of this study is to look at learning outcomes of Information and Communication Technology class VIII SMP N 3 Padang better after application of Active Learning Strategies Learning type Starts With A Questions. This type of research is experiment. Population studies all class VIII SMP N 3 Padang and sample in this study is VIII.2 class of 31 people as classroom learning experiment using active learning strategies type of learning starts with a question and VIII.4 class with conventional learning as much as 31 people control class. The sampling technique was randomly (random sampling). From the research shows that the class that implements the type of learning active learning strategy starts with a question has an average value (61.29) is higher when compared with students who apply conventional learning (35.48). While the calculation of the t-test is obtained t_hitung t_tabel = 2.12 and = 1.67. Because thitung > ttabel then the hypothesis can be accepted at the level of 95%. So it can be concluded experimental class students is higher than the control class, learning by applying active learning strategies learning type starts with a question to be used as an alternative for teachers to improve learning outcomes information and communication technologies students.
