PENGARUH PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK DALAM MENULIS PUISI SISWA KELAS VIII SMP KARTIKA 1-6 PADANG

Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to see the difference in learning outcomes of students of class VIII SMP Kartika 1-6 Padang between the control class and experimental class. The theory used in this study were (1) the notion of poetry, (2) write poetry, (3) the elements of poetry, (4) teaching methods, (5) scientific approach, (6) inquiry learning strategy. This research is a quantitative experimental method. The population was junior Kartika 1-6 Padang. For sampling carried out by random sampling (random system). VIII.2 class as an experimental class and control class as a class VIII.3. This research data is the result of students learning to write poetry. Data analysis, hypothesis test using t-test formula to the real level of 0.05. Based on the hypothesis testing are differences in the ability to write poetry with t_hitung greater than t_tabel. T_hitung value obtained was 36.786 with t_tabel. 1,160. It can be concluded that the scientific approach to inquiry method affect the success of the students to write poetry. This is evidenced from the work of writing free verse students in the experimental class average score of 77, higher than the control class average value of 59.
