Abstrak

This research is motivated by the lack of creativity and learning outcomes Civics Elementary School fifth grade students 35 Pagambiran Padang. The purpose of this research is to improve the creativity and learning outcomes Civics fifth grade students of SD Negeri 35 Kota Padang Pagambiran using ARIAS models. This research was conducted by using a Class Action Research (PTK) which was conducted in two cycles. The data source is a fifth grade students of SD Negeri 35 Pagambiran city of Padang, amounting to 27 people. The research instrument used is the observation sheet activities of teachers, students' creativity observation sheets, sheets discussion and student achievement test. Implementation of learning civics through ARIAS models in class V is progressing well. Known from the results in the first cycle, the average percentage of students' creativity to express questions first cycle in percentage 53.69% to 79.62% in the second cycle. The creativity of the students in a discussion on the first cycle in the percentage of 57.40% to 81.48% in the second cycle. Learning outcomes also increased from 62.96% the first cycle students with an average value of 68.33 class increased to 88.88% with an average value of grade 90 in the second cycle. This means that the target indicators in this study successfully and achieved. It was concluded that the model of ARIAS may improve creativity and learning outcomes on student learning civics class V SD Negeri 35 Pagambiran Padang.
