Abstrak

This study aims to describe the increase in the learning activities of students in learning Indonesian Language by using the method of playing a role in an angular SDN 11 Reserved Pesisir Selatan Regency. The theory used in this research is studying and learning, speaking, and learning activities of students. This research is a Research Action class that is implemented in semester II academic year 2014/2015 in an angular SDN 11 Reserved Pesisir Selatan Regency. The subject of research is the grade IV SDN 11 an angular Reserved  Pesisir Selatan Regency of 25 students. The study was conducted in two cycles and each cycle consisting of two meetings. Instruments such as the observation research activities of students and teachers aspects. The results showed an increase in activity of student learning first cycle of 57% the first meeting and at the meeting II has risen 65%. Second cycle of the first meeting and 74% in the second meeting has risen 83%. The thoroughness of the first cycle of student learning outcomes 68 and the second cycle 75. Thus, the use of methods play a role can enhance students' learning activities. Therefore, it is advisable for teachers to be able to use the method of playing a role in learning Indonesian in SD.
