PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPS DENGAN MENGGUNAKANMODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DI SDNEGERI 45 GANTING KECAMATANLENGAYANG PESISIR SELATAN
Abstrak
This research was motivated by the lowness of students’activity in learning social science and teaching method used by teacher which was still in optimal and dominaed by teacher so that learning process tends teacher entered. The purpose this research was to describe the increase of learning activity of faurth grade students by using Problem Based Learning model. This resedch is clasrum action research. This research was held at elementary school 45 Ganting Kecamatan Lengayang Pesisir Selatan. That number of sample was 20, consisting of 14 bays and 6 girls. Instuments used to collect data were observation students teacher activity, observation sheet students activity and achivement test. Based on the result of data analysed, it was found that in first cycle 68,28% of teacher’s activity students activity in answering guestion in good category reached 52,50% in cycle I and it increase to 75% in seemed cycle. In writing story 72,5% of student activity fell into good activity and it increased to 87,5% in second cycle. Based onthe result of reseach it can be concluded that using Problem Based Learning model in learning social sience can increase students activity. Retating to this conclosion, the teachers are suggesed to use Problem Based Learning model to increase students activity.
