PENERAPAN METODE CURAH PENDAPAT (BRAINSTORMING) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VII SMPN 4 PARIAMAN

The low of mathematic study result of students VII Grade at SMPN 4 Pariaman academic year 2014/2015 caused by several factors, such as in discussion not all of students will participate and still little the students who give an opinion. To solve this problem, in done a research by implementation brainstorming method in mathematic lesson. The purpose of this research is to know the mathematics study result of students by using brainstorming method is better than mathematic study result of students by using scientific approach at VII grade. Type of this research is experimental. Population of the research is all student at VII grade which consists of seven classes. Samples has taken two classes, VII.2 as experiment class and VII.3 as control class. Data in this research got by give the final test on both of sample class. To testing the hypothesis used t-test on the phase α = 0,05. From the calculation results got t = 2,45, while t (0,95; 62) = 1,669 because t > t (0,95; 62) so the hypothesis of this research is accepted. So mathematic study result of students by implementation brainstorming is better than mathematic study result of students by using scientific approach.
