Abstract

The low result graders learn math I OKR at SMK 5 Padang caused by several factors, one of which is still a learning process centered on the teacher, the students do not have textbooks so that students only master the material at the level of rote without understanding. The solution for this problem researchers tried to apply the learning discovery learning model by using worksheets. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning outcomes of students who apply mathematical discovery learning  model by using LKS better than student learning outcomes in learning to apply the usual learning students in grade I OKR SMK 5 Padang. The results were obtained after learning the results of tests carried out on samples of two classes. To draw conclusions on the data obtained from the study, performed statistical analysis, so we concluded that the learning outcomes of students learning mathematics apply discovery learning models using the worksheets as well as learning outcomes of students learning mathematics applying the usual learning in class I OKR SMK 5 Padang academic year 2014/2015
