PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII SMP YOS SUDARSO PADANG

Abstrak

The problem faced in learningmathematics is the students undergraded result, One of the reason is the learning activities which is still teacherʼs centered, So that students become less active in learning activities, and the lack of motivation in students for learning mathematics. The type of this research is experimental research. The population is the VIII grade of Yos Sudarso Junior High School during the school year of 2014/2015 which is divided into two classes. Sampel were choosen from the existing population after it is know that the population of two classes sample are homogen randomly. From two classes sample, VIII-1 class consist of  21 person were choosen as control class and VIII-2 class consist of  22 person choosen as experiment class in this research. Based on the data, it can be conecluded that the students learning result who implementing the jigsaw Type Cooperatif Learning model. Are better than students mahematics learning resul who implementing conventional learning method.
