Abstrak

This research was motivated by the low ability of critical thinking and mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN 04 Kampung Olo Padang. The purpose of this reseach was to describe the increase in critical thinking skills and learning outcomes Mathematics fourth grade research of SDN 04 Kampung Padang Olo using Concept Mapping Strategy. This type of research is classroom action research. This research was conducted in two cycles. The date source is the fourth grade research of SDN 04 Kampung Olo Padang skor 28 students. The instrument used is the rubric of critical thinking skills of students, teachers and activity sheets achievement test. Based on the analysis of students' critical thinking skills, critical thinking percentage of students in each cycle has increased. In the first cycle of 65,80% increased to 80,17% in the second cycle. Research learning outcomes also increased in the first cycle of 32,14% increased to 89,29% in the second cycle. From the date obtained it can be concluded that there is an increase in critical thinking skills and mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN 04 Kampung Olo Padang, after using Concept Mapping strategy. Use of Concept Mapping strategy can also be used for other subjects in a way that is more interesting to be able       to         get       maximum            results
